British School of Valencia (BSV) is a private British school for students aged 2 to 18 years old located in the city centre of Valencia.

The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spanish Additional Language and French Teacher to join our fantastic team.

About the Role:
In this role, you will play a central part in fostering a positive, purposeful learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their best. You will take responsibility for student learning, using data effectively to plan, organise, and evaluate progress across the year. You will create safe, orderly classrooms, promote positive behaviour, and maintain confidentiality in line with school policy. Your role will include communicating thoughtfully with families, collaborating closely with colleagues, and contributing fully to the wider life of the school—whether through meetings, duties, or supporting school events. You will also help strengthen home–school links and support students’ wellbeing, including guiding them through friendship challenges and contributing to a culture of listening and respect.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a start date in September 2026.

You are an excellent communicator and a committed, fully qualified teacher with successful teaching experience. You bring strong instructional skills, exemplary classroom management, and a flexible, cooperative approach. You thrive as part of a team, working effectively with colleagues across different roles and disciplines. You are proactive, reliable, and able to align your practice with the school’s mission, culture, and expectations. Above all, you are dedicated to maintaining high standards, supporting students’ academic and emotional development, and contributing to a professional and positive learning community.
